‘Dancing with the Stars’ Results, Week 2

Model and actress Elisabetta Canalis left the “Dancing with the Stars” TV show in Week 2 together with her partner, Val Chmerkovsky, becoming the second duo to be eliminated in Season 13. The couple was expected to reach the final stages of the show but their different temperaments and her inability to understand English very well led to poor interaction, resulting in a situation where Canalis and Chmerkovsky interacted only during their dances.

David Arquette and Kym Johnson were the other couple to be eliminated in Week 2, keeping Chaz Bono and Lacey Schwimmer in the show for now after the pair struck the lowest judges’ scores for their quickstep. Ricki Lake and Derek Hough were the pair that won highest scores with their “Hey, Ya” jive.

Besides eliminations, professional dancers Dmitry Chaplin and Chelsie Hightower appeared on the dance floor performing on “So You Think You Can Dance.” The “Dancing with the Stars” show continues with dances that convey “a personal story of the most memorable year of the stars’ lives,” sources close to the show said.
