Ryan Gosling’s Secret DUI Arrest

Canada-born Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling has managed to keep secret his 2005 DUI arrest when officers from the central Los Angeles station of the California Highway Patrol for “exhibiting speed” and “driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or greater.” The 30-year-old actor plays the character of a stunt driver in the movie “Drive” currently.

Later on, he pleaded “no contest” after being charged with “driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.” Other charges included “driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or greater.” Following a six year trail, a judge sentenced him to two years of probation and ordered the actor to pay $849 in fines.

In fact, defense lawyers often use “exhibiting sped” as a plea bargain to replace the more serious DUI charge in the United States. Nevertheless, the most amazing part of the story is how the star of “The Notebook” has managed to keep his arrest secret for more than six years while Hollywood reporters are looking for news everywhere.
