Singers Clay Aiken and Dee Snider are among the contenders, while actors include George Takei, the 74-year old “Star Trek” star, and Patricia Velasquez. The new ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ cast also include macho-type participants like former Hulk, Lou Ferrigno; the star of the “American Chopper” series, Paul Teutul Sr., and the race-car driver Michael Andretti.

Apart from Patricia Velasquez and Lisa Lampanelli, female contestants have been selected among various professions, including model Cheryl Tiegs, former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza as well as reality performers Victoria Gotti and Teresa Giudice.

Singers Aubrey O’Day, Debbie Gibson, and Tia Carrere will also try to grab the prize and donate it to a charity of their choice, while media pundits are undecided on who of the new ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ cast has the greatest chance to win the upcoming season of the show, whose ratings are not among the highest in its niche.
