For all Americans Thursday November 25 2010 is the Thanksgiving holiday. While many Americans will be watching NFL football all day some will be checking out the 2010 Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. This Thanksgiving day parade is one of the most famous parades in the United States. What better way for a company to market their store then the day before Black Friday. For many Americans the parade is just as important as the Turkey being served on Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving 2010 check out the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which takes place down Fifth Avenue in New York City before Black Friday.

There are a lot of balloons and big bands along with amazing floats in this years parade that you will not want to miss. Purdue university is just one of the ten schools who were lucky enough to be chosen to bring their marching band into this years Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade. It is estimated that 3.5 million people will line the streets of New York City to see this parade and another 50 million people will watch live on NBC. This Thanksgiving 2010 look for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to be bigger and better than ever so don’t forget to set the timer on the bird.
