Thor: Thor Movie Trailer

The latest creation by Marvel Studios along with Paramount Pictures is the story of the great Norse God of Thunder, Thor. The movie is to be released in theaters on May 6, 2011. It will be starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Hopkins as his father, and Natalie Portman as his love interest. The first Thor movie trailer has been released to give audiences a tease of what’s to come.

Thor will be Marvel’s attempt at making another superhero, as they did with the Iron Man movies. Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the movie details Thor’s life on Earth after he is sent here for punishment. He must then fight the dark forces of his world when they are sent to Earth to invade. The Thor movie trailer gives fans a chance to analyze and contemplate what will happen.

On May 6, 2011 the Thor movie will open nationwide, and also in 3-D. It should be a big blockbuster movie and draw in millions of movie goers to the theaters. This will most likely be only the first in a series of Thor movies, as we have seen with Iron Man, Spiderman, and many other super hero movies.
