Amanda Bynes retires from acting at age 24

Amanda Bynes says she’s done with acting. She realizes 24 years old is young to retire, but for now, that is what she wants to do. Her retirement came via an announcement on Twitter. She commented that being an actress is not the fun people think it is.

Bynes said, “If I don’t love something anymore I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it.” If she sticks with the retirement plan, her last film may be the September 17 release of “Easy A.” Bynes got her acting career start on Nickelodeon in “All That” and “The Amanda Show.”

Bynes also starred in films, such as She’s the Man, Hairspray, What A Girl Wants, and Big Fat Liar. Amanda also had voice parts in Charlotte’s Web 2: Wilbur’s Great Adventure and Robots. Bynes is a natural beauty with plenty of talent. Again, 24 years of age is young to retire, fans hope she’ll change her mind.
