NCAA Final Four 2011: Final Four Teams

The final two teams to make this years Final Four will be determined today when Virginia Commonwealth  faces off against Kansas at 2:20 pm EST, and Kentucky hits the court against North Carolina at 5:05 pm EST.  This years March Madness tournament has seen many upsets with only 1 number 1 ranked team left. The lowest ranked team left in the tourney is VCU at 11. How have your bracket selections turned out for the NCAA Final Four 2011, did you select the correct Final Four teams?

Two of this years Final Four teams have already won their way in. On Saturday Butler defeated Florida in overtime to get one step closer to the NCAA Championship. In the later game UCONN went up against Arizona, and despite scoring less points in the second half then their opponent UCONN ended up pulling off the 2 point victory. Both Butler and UCONN will be tuning in today to see which team they will play in the NCAA Final Four 2011.

When looking at the final two Elite Eight matchups today we see that both Kansas and Kentucky are favorites. Kansas, being ranked number 1 and facing the 11th ranked VCU, is favored by a staggering 11.5 points. The later matchup sees the number 4 ranked Kentucky favored by 1.5 points against their 2nd ranked opponent North Carolina.
