Today is opening day for the Cincinnati Reds. This has been nothing short of a holiday in Cincinnati for the last three centuries. This city is home of the professional baseball’s oldest franchise. This is the Cincinnati Red’s 135th opening day and it is the 9th opening day at Great American Ball Park.
Well before the Cincinnati Reds played the Brewers there was the 92nd edition of the Findlay Market Parade which goes through downtown. The grand marshal was Hall of Famer Joe Morgan. Pitchers Mike Leake and Travis Wood were there riding the route as well. This is a great time for the Cincinnati Reds.
The game against the Brewers started at 2:10 eastern time Thursday. Many fans are watching online using MLB TV. Their fans are super excited since this is the first time in 15 years that they have reached the playoffs. We are excited to see what the fans have to say after the game has ended.
