Could you imagine the horror of rushing to the men’s bathroom, sitting down and then finding out that you could not get up? Police in Elkton Maryland are searching for the someone who appears to have done an April Fool’s day prank. This prank resulted in a man being glued to a toilet in a Wal-Mart store on March 31. This may seem comical but it would be extremely embarrassing.
The jokester may not think this joke is so funny when he finds out that the prank he pulled on March 31 could cause him to face second-degree assault charges. The perpetrator doused the seat with glue at a Elkton Wal-Mart and Lt. Matthew Donnelly of the Elkton Police Department is serious about finding them. Around 7 p.m. the police as well as the Singerly Fire Co. and Cecil County paramedics were called to the scene. This is when they found out that a man had seriously been glued to a Wal-Mart toilet seat.
When they arrived on the scene they found the 48-year-old victim. He called for help after he had tried to get up from his sticky situation and failed to be able to stand up and leave the restroom according to Donnelly. It took 15 minutes for the responders to remove the victim from the stall but they still could not disconnect the seat from the victim. The seat was detached when the victim was taken to Union Hospital of Cecil County.
