White iPhone 4: Coming Thursday

There has been a lot of rumors and speculation about the White iPhone 4. Apple has decided to end these rumors and announced that this phone will be available for purchase Thursday. “The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior VP of worldwide product marketing. Schiller had previously announced this phone for spring.

There is nothing new according to functionality when it comes to the white iPhone 4. The only thing that is different is that the phone is white. The white iPhone 4 will be available in Apple’s online store and retail stores, as well as AT&T and Verizon Wireless stores and select Apple authorized resellers. This new color phone is going to be the same price as the black version: $199 for the 16 GB model and $299 for the 32 GB model and this is with a two year agreement.

Besides for America, Apple plans to make the white iPhone 4 available in the following countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and the UK. Apple is quoted saying that the phone should be in “many more countries around the world soon.”
