Tom Cruise Dances With the Stars at the MTV Movie Awards 2010

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards are now history, and Tom Cruise’s trip in the light fantastic with Jennifer Lopez is a part of that history. Cruise might not be as young as his “Risky Business” years, but the couch leaping actor revealed in his dance number that he still has some of the “right moves” left! Tom served as the MTV Movie awards 2010 fictitious “producer,” Les Grossman. Even though it has been over 25 years since Cruise slid across the floor in his underwear to Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Tom can still cut a strut just like the old days.

Other MTV Movie Awards 2010 highlights include a “California Gurls” duo by Snoop Dogg and Kate Perry. Despite rumors to the alternative, Kate was fully clothed, or as fully clothed as a diva of pop music gets. Sandra Bullock made a memorable acceptance speech for the MTV Generation Award. During the speech, an intentional comical lip lock between Bullock and Scarlett Johansson caught viewer attention. There were many comments that a more humorous alternative would have been a Bullock-Betty White interchange instead.

Will Farrell in his appearance with Mark Wahlberg during the presentation of the Best Villain award had him hanging from the ceiling at the MTV Movie Awards 2010. Christina Aguilera spotlighted her Bionic release on an avant-garde throne reminiscent of Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour grand entrance. Twilight Best Movie award winner Peter Facinelli found it necessary to use a string of F-bombs during his acceptance speech. Those were not the only F-bombs of the evening, however, and censors seemed to miss a few, especially those in Peter’s speech.
