Fans are pretty upset and questioning the PlayStation network status. Sony had just announced that things were beginning to run smoothly and business should be back to normal when Sony was hacked again according to a hacker group called Lulzsec.
“Among other things, we also compromised all admin details of Sony Pictures (including passwords) along with 75,000 ‘music codes’ and 3.5 million ‘music coupons,’” Lulzsec wrote in a note posted to Pastebin.com.
This hacker group is the same group that hacked into PBS and posted a fake news story about Tupac still being alive.
The day that the information about the new hacking came out is the same day that Sony had brought the PlayStation store back online and also appeared on Capitol Hill just to say that they had no “clear evidence” about the hackers that accessed the credit card information on its PlayStation network.
This is very embarrassing for Sony and may really cause people to question whether they want their information protected by this company or not. Hacker group Lulzsec claimed it was very easy to hack in and get all of the information that he acquired through this recent hack.
