As we look at the U.S. Open leaderboard 2011 we shouldn’t be all distraught over the lack of leaders that are in the game and actually from America. It is true that Americans are locked out of the top spots but there is still some hope for our country yet.
Even though it has been six major championships since Stewart Cink won the trophy at the 2009 PGA Championship, America could still pull out some good positions and possibly a win.
The closest Americans on the U.S. Open Leaderboard 2011 are Mtt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, Zach Johnson and Robert Garrigus. These players are in 3rd place but the thing is they are nine shots back.
The real guy to be watching in this game is Rory McIlory but sadly he hails from Ireland so that is no excitement for us Americans.
Since the fall of Tiger Woods from dominance America does not have so much to brag about in their golf as they used to.
What is going to be the outcome? Who is going to win the U.S. Open?
