Ryan Dunn Dies in Car Crash: Ryan Dunn’s Death Hits Co-Stars Hard

Early Monday morning outside of Philadelphia ‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn was in a severe car accident that not only took his life, but the life of his passenger Zachary Hartwell. The Porsche 911 GT3 that Dunn was driving crashed into a tree and became engulfed in flames. It is believed that he was going over 100mph in a 55mph zone when he lost control of his vehicle. Ryan Dunn’s death has hit the ‘Jackass’ crew hard, as they have become very close over the years.

The autopsy report on Ryan Dunn’s death states that he died from the force of the accident. Dunn also was believed to be driving over the alcohol legal limit. however the toxicology report will take between 4-6 weeks to be completed. Hours before the crash took place Ryan Dun posted on Twitter pictures of himself out with friends drinking. Police say Dunn and passenger Hartwell were already dead when they arrived on scene.

‘Jackass’ co-star Johnny Knoxville posted this on Twitter “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you Buddy”. Other ‘Jackass’ co-star Steve-O posted on his Twitter ” I don’t know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I am really going to miss him. Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera and Dunn have been friends for many years and were known for the crazy and dangerous stunts they would do as part of the show. The news of Ryan Dunn’s death has hit the ‘Jackass’ guys and many other celebrities who knew him hard.

    So sad! but why drink and drive?? He killed his own future and even tweeted about him drinking before driving! just plain stupid

    I grew up watching the cky videos before jackass came out that whole crew is what shaped my future, im not as badass as they were but its crazy that hes dead its not expected, only the good die young, rest in peace ryan, you will be missed greatly…it should be already know but dont drink and drive…
