ESPN has more than their fare share of problems. Analyst have affairs with players that result in divorces and big time players are given specials regardless of whether they truly deserve it. Now, ESPN has another big ugly smear across their face. Jeremy Green was an ESPN analyst prior to being arrested on Thursday.
This ESPN analyst was in a Hartford area hotel when he was arrested. The charges are first-degree possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. The bail for these charges rings up to $750,000. Jeremy Green was obviously in way over his head and for now he sits in jail.
ESPN has turned into the NFL of Sports Networks. The time has come for the folks in control at ESPN to start monitoring their employees a little closer. Just because someone played a role with an NFL team doesn’t automatically make them a good choice as an employee. Jeremy Green is a contributing editor for ESPN.com prior to this nightmare, what happens next remains to be seen.
