Fourth of July 2011 Fireworks – Independence Day

This long weekend is a great time to get out and celebrate the Independence Day of the United States of America. Join your local celebrations, enjoy your family picnics, swimming, fishing, boating, golfing, most of all get involved this Fourth of July weekend. Try to stay up late enough to watch the spectacular display of fireworks.

In some states it does not get dark soon enough for fireworks to start until after 10:00 p.m. A little late for the youngsters and maybe some oldsters as well, but well worth watching. Take part in the festivities, a lot of local parks will be having flag waving ceremonies, with cake, ice cream and the fireworks, enjoy this long weekend.

It is the start of summer, and we all know how fast summers pass us bye. As we all celebrate our Independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain, it makes us wonder, why didn’t our good friends to the North, Canada, also break away from Royal rule? They seem to be enjoying it though with Prince William and Princess Catherine helping them to celebrate Canada Day today.
