Casey Anthony: Being Sued By “Zanny The Nanny”

You didn’t think that you had heard the last about Casey Anthony now did you? It looks like Anthony is going to be back in court after her July 13th release.

casey anthonyA woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez had her attorney John Morgan file a subpoena to question Casey and served her at Orange County Jail. The claim by Gonzalez is that she can not find work and was completely ostracized after Anthony told police officials that a woman with the same name as her had kidnapped her daughter.

“Zanny the Nanny” is suing for $15,000 for lost wages and punitive damages. While Casey Anthony is currently broke, has court costs to pay and likely a very large defense attorney bill she does stand to make tons of money if someone should decide to make a made-for-television movie or give her a book deal after her shocking acquittal.

Almost everyone expected Casey Anthony to be guilty in the trial and people are still in an uproar but you really have to ask yourself if you could have said beyond a shadow of a doubt that you knew that she did it and sent a young woman to death row or to jail for life.

All I have to say about this lawsuit is $15,000 enough, I think more think of the cost of living!

  2. MARION says:

Casey got “zanny’s” name off of the mailbox of the apartment complex where casey was staying with her boyfriend. This woman has every right to sue as she was investigated by police, lost her apt. and job, has had death threats for her entire family

  3. Barbara Kinlaw says:

The law states “reasonable” doubt not “shadow of a doubt”.

I THINK $15,000 IS NOT ENOUGH NOT WHEN HER NAME HAS BEEN SCANDALIZE, SHE AND HER FAMILY HAS GOTTEN DEATH THREATS ALSO. SO MR. MORGAN DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IN THIS LAWSUIT SO THIS FAMILY CAN GO BACK TO LIVING A NORMAL LIFE.
