British Open Leaderboard: Day 4 at The Open

The British Open from the Royal St. Georges Golf Club in Kent, England is now heading into its fourth and final day. Saturday saw some of the worst weather at The Open with lots of rain and wind. The terrible weather wreaked havoc on many golfers games which affected the results on the British Open leaderboard. In top spot heading into day four is Darren Clarke at -5. He has golfed very well throughout the tournament shooting scores of 68, 68, and 69 over the first three days.

Following closely behind Darren Clarke on the British Open leaderboard is Dustin Johnson at -4, Rickie Fowler and Thomas Bjorn at -2, and Lucas Glover and Miguel A. Jimenez at -1. Phil Mickelson who golfed at 71 on Saturday is sitting at 5 shots off the lead. On Saturday only three golfers shot below par those being Darren Clarke, Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson.

Rory McIlroy had a rough third round shooting a 74, bringing him to +4 over the first 3 days. Last years Open winner Louis Oosthuizen also shot a 74 on Saturday bringing him to +6 for the tournament so far. Darren Clarke has seen his name atop the British Open leaderboard after day two and three,we will see today if he can stay on top and win his first Major Championship.
