Casey Anthony Released From Jail

Mark Lippman, a lawyer for Casey Anthony’s parents, said the couple is not prepared to allow their daughter to return to their home after Casey Anthony is released from jail in Florida, local media reported. According to him, Casey’s attorney Jose Baez asked her parents to play the role of media decoy in the night when their daughter was freed but the couple refused.

“Last night we got a call from Mr. Baez … he had wanted to use my clients as decoys for the media and I, of course, did not agree with that and neither did my clients,” Lippman said. She is safe but her whereabouts is unknown even to her relatives, he added. Her mother, Cindy Anthony, wanted to meet her following reports that Casey Anthony was released from jail but Baez has managed to hide his client.

“After the trial Cindy tried to see Casey and again was rebuked. Now again, even a simple telephone call apparently seems to be too much for either Casey or Mr. Baez, so we’re asking publicly that Mr. Baez at least reach out to me and let me know what’s going on,” Lippman said. Her parents did not know for sure that Casey Anthony was released from jail until TV cameramen showed their daughter exiting the Orlando County Jail dressed in a pink T-shirt last night.

A crowd of Casey’s critics appeared in front of the jail while a man was happy to see Casey Anthony released from jail, carrying a sign “Casey will you marry me.”
