The Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club in Vancouver, Canada with it’s old traditional style fairways and greens, are going to keep it a challenging day.

PGA Tour Canadian Open

The Champion of the RBC Canadian Open will take home a purse of $918,000 U.S., not a bad take when you enjoy your work. The weather here is good for golfing, low-60′s to start the day, but they are calling for isolated showers. After the blusterous weather at the British Open, the weather here is much better, as the professionals from around the world start their day.

Last year’s Champion of the Canadian Open, Carl Petterson from Sweden, will tee off today at 12:40 p.m. Pacific time, vying to keep his title. Luke Donald, from England, ranked number one in the world, will tee off at 12:50 p.m. and the Canadian to follow Mike Weir will be teeing off also at 12:50 p.m. We will be watching as the day progresses to bring you the latest updates from the Canadian Open.
