Brett Favre: Michael Vick’s Tweet

For a fourth year in row a story about Brett Favre coming out of retirement  is in the news with the Michael Vick tweet announcing he will be pleased to see Brett Favre as backup on the Philadelphia Eagles. In the meantime, expectations are high that this week the NFL players are going to accept the owners collective bargaining agreement, ending the long-standing lockout.

The amazing side of the story is that although everybody thinks there is a possible deal between the Eagles and Favre, the player himself has assured the world he is retired now. In contrast, it appears that the never ending story titled  “Brett Favre: Michael Vick’s Tweet” after Vick revealed his endless praise for Favre’s ability to outplay defenses during his entire career as a professional player.

Eagles are desperate to land the gifted player while  Michael Vick’s tweet about Brett Favre reminds us of similar developments in the past. Eagles coach Andy Reid and Favre have played together for 7 seasons in Green Bay, therefore it will not be a surprise if they reunite now.

Meanwhile, NFL players are expected to vote on ending the lockout today but negative development will not be unexpected. Both players and club owners are under pressure to work out a deal as either side do not want to witness the cancellation of any preseason game.
