A couple of days ago, Michael Jackson’s mother and four of his siblings said that there is going to be a tribute concert for Michael Jackson, but it seems that two other siblings of the star are not really approving the timing of the show.
The Michael Jackson tribute concert is to be held in Wales, sometime later this year, on the 8th of October, according to what mother Katherine Jackson and siblings of the late artist, La Toya, Tito, Jackie and Marlon said. A couple of hours after the announcement of the Michael Jackson tribute concert was made, two other brothers, Randy and Jermaine, said that they opposed the date, as it coincides with the day in which the doctor, who was charged in Michael Jackson’s case, was going to face trial.
The two brothers twitted saying that they do not oppose the tribute concert, they only oppose the day in which it is going to be held, as they cannot comprehend how it can happen at the same time as the criminal trial surrounding their brother Michael’s death.
Furthermore, the two brothers also stated that Michael deserved a grand tribute concert, but that the biggest tribute they can bring him right now is by seeking justice in his name. The Michael Jackson tribute concert is said to be held on the 8th of October, at Millennium Stadium in Wales and it will celebrate the star, who died prematurely on the 25th of June, 2009, at the young age of 50.
