The cause of death for Bubba Smith is not yet 100% clear according to police reports. Smith was a sports prodigy of his career which he built his career with the Michigan State Spartans back during his collegiate days. Charles “Bubba” Smith was chosen as the first overall pick in the 1967 NFL draft by the Baltimore Colts. His style of defensive playing made him one of the best sack artists in the game.
